Joyce is "stiff and sore"
OF Matt Joyce is not in the lineup today for a reason - he said he was "stiff and sore" after playing back-to-back games since coming off the DL.
Joyce said when the coaches asked him after Wednesday's game about playing the day game after the night game, he said he wasn't sure how he'd feel this morning so they opted for caution in starting Hideki Matsui in rightfield.
